The Quart

Weston sub Edge is a small village close to the start of the Cotswold Way, 20 minutes from the home of Shakespeare at Stratford Upon Avon, two miles from Chipping Campden and its Music and Literature Festivals, Broadway, Longborough Opera, Daylesford, and National Trust properties. We are perfectly located for walking and exploring. Do bring your dog but please don't leave them on their own in The Quart. Transport is essential as we are very rural and taxis and buses aren't always available.

This is a well equipped spacious one bed flat with a king size bed. It accommodates two, but can sleep up to four people with the use of the sofa bed. It's approximatley 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Charlbury. Open plan lounge/kitchen area. Off street parking for up to two cars. Use of the front garden for sitting out and watching the sunset of an evening. Charlbury has some lovely pubs and is an ideal base if you'd like to visit Oxford, Blenheim Palace and many other Cotswold towns.

Built in the 17th Century it has been a successful country pub serving home-cooked food and local ales for over 100 years.

Relaxing retreat on the edge of the Cotswolds

The house is situated 10 minutes away from Moreton In Marsh, a beautiful cotswolds town with great train links to London, as well as being close to Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace). The village has a great pub which is 1/2 a mile down a single track lane from the studio. Guests will be welcomed by either myself, Jo or Ken. Stone Barn is a light and airy contemporary barn conversion with a wonderful open-plan living space, situated just outside the picturesque village of Upper Swell and within two miles of the popular market town of Stow-on-the-wold. The cottage also has shared access to 12 acres of grass and woodland which you are free to roam at will, within the shared grounds are a tennis court, badminton court and games room which can be used whenever.
