With easy access to coastal walking tracks, 500m walk to the beach, 5 mins from Lyttelton & 20 mins to Christchurch central this space is the perfect getaway spot. We have created the holiday space we always search for, come and enjoy it Summer or Winter!

The Birds Nest is a secluded and boutique cabin nestled amongst the tree tops and away from other houses. This luxury hideaway provides the peace and quiet of nature, whilst maintaining close proximity to all that the city and suburbs has to offer. This downtown oasis is the perfect mix of style, comfort and convenience. Just a short walk to the myriad of city attractions on one side and the natural beauty of the Botanic Gardens on the other. Avonview Cottage is a cosy place, warm in winter and cool in summer (with heatpump and HRV). There is a full kitchen, with large fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic cooktop (4 burners) and an oven. The bathroom has a nice hot shower and a small vanity. There’s also a front loading washing machine for you to use. The Avon River is very close by and the area is very quiet. A New World supermarket is only a 10 minute walk away and there are lots of other shops and restaurants around.
