The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Step outside & you’re moments from historic sites, leafy green spaces & charming shops, each with stories woven through the centuries.

2 Bed Coastal Cottage. Paddleboard. Dogs welcome.

This spacious Victorian cottage is a great base to explore the coast , walk, birdwatch or paddleboard. Situated in the traditional fishing village of Tollesbury the cottage has a lovely dining area, fully stocked kitchen, two large bedrooms and garden. We’re a 5 minute walk from the water and access to miles of coastal seawall walks and nature reserves looking over the river Blackwater. Tollesbury is a popular place in summer with a saltwater swimming lido and many water based activities.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

This beautiful unique listed cottage, built in 1666, is located in the Anchorage area of West Mersea. Just a short stroll from local pubs, restaurants, the beach and the sailing club. It is a cosy, quirky and stylish property for two people. Perfect for a romantic gettaway. The private courtyard garden is lovely for dining al fresco on the local seafood.
