Our one bedroom downstairs apartment is the perfect place to enjoy your time in Woody Point. In the lounge, we also have a comfortable double sofa with an inner spring mattress. A bus stop is conveniently at the doorstep. Across the road is the waterfront park with BBQ’s, playground and a boardwalk that begins at the Woody Point jetty and wraps around the coastline. A block away are great restaurants and cafes. Wander up the hill to see the Gayundah shipwreck or to the beach for a swim.

Just across the road is an ideal beach for small children with rock pools to explore, flat water or low waves, soft sand and shady trees. Situated between the Redcliffe and Scarborough seaside villages, it is easy to walk or ride to playgrounds, a dog-off leash area, Sunday markets, supervised swimming areas (beach and pool), cafes, restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets. Gidget's is a two bedroom, 1 bathroom beach unit that is newly renovated. Set on the first floor of a complex of 10 units built in the 80's. You will find original retro touches, from the funky floor tiles to the wedge style intercom phone on the wall. From the east facing patio you can hear the sea and feel the sea breezes. Just a short 200metre stroll and you will find yourself stepping onto the white sandy shore of Kings Beach. Gidget's is a peaceful blend of the two era's.
