Little House, Exmoor National Park, Somerset

This non smoking cedar clad pod stands at the head of a private valley surrounded by green fields, framed by a distant tree lined sky line. Wildlife is found in abundance, foxes and badgers roam and you might be lucky and spot red stags and hinds passing through. You will definitely hear the red stags roar in the autumn rutting (mating) season. You will not hear any road noise, only bird song. The pod is a star gazer's paradise, being in a dark sky reserve, with owls and bats flitting past.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. The Pony Stalls, near Brompton Regis is a recently converted barn on a working farm on Exmoor, within easy walking distance from Wimbleball Lake. Sleeping up to 6 guests in three rooms, it's well-suited to families. There are gardens at the front and rear [enclosed]. Both have lake views. The barn, once used to house the farms working horses, has been tastefully restored with modern comforts. Within a 40 minute drive from the M5 yet close to open moorland and stunning views of the lake.

Linnets is a rather special property in the heart of rural Somerset within the pretty village of Fitzhead. Linnets is a large, three-bedroom semi-detached house with a modern Swedish hot tub that seats 6, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, set in a very pretty garden. Linnets is proud to be fully wheelchair accessible. Downstairs there is a spacious wet room with grabs rails and shower chair. The kitchen also has some low-level worktops, and the living room is fitted with a hearing loop.
