Mushroom hunting and huckleberry picking are close by. Millies Grille (in Anatone) and Boggans Oasis (20 mi. South) are local eateries with good food. Hours vary. Forest roads, trails, and rail-beds abound for hiking, biking, xc-skiing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling. Owners' 2-acre pond is stocked with small-mouth bass, blue gill, and crappie for license-free fishing, and a canoe and kayak are available for your use in warmer weather.
