It dates back to 1481 and is recognised as the oldest house in Stratford upon Avon. It is full of character with many charming features of wooden beams, flagstones, stained glass windows. Guests will discover that a short stroll and you are at Shakespeare Birthplace, the Theatre, the river Avon along with choices of restaurants and bars

Stay a stone’s throw from Shakespeare’s Birthplace

This is a second floor loft apartment in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon. We are located on a pedestrianised street and Shakespeare’s birthplace is less than 100 yards away. Everything this beautiful town has to offer is right on the doorstep. It’s only a 7 minute flat walk from the train station and there is a taxi rank within a minute’s walk too. The apartment itself is double glazed and very quiet. We’ve just refurbished it throughout (May 2021) and are so excited to start welcoming guests!

However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.
