Wake up in the morning to just the sounds of the birds in your retreat set in 10 acres of rural paradise. From your private terrace, set amidst the beautiful gardens, you can wander freely through the grounds. Our property is home to a great many native species, including wallabies and over 100 species of birds. We have no domestic pets. Head into Samford village for a coffee at one of the many iconic coffee shops, or take a stroll through the nearby rainforests of Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo.

Temple Retreat is a luxurious and relaxing hideaway situated in Pullenvale, a rural acreage area west of Brisbane, 20 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and 35 minutes from Brisbane airport. Currawong Cottage is located at picturesque Kobble Creek Cottages. It is situated on the highest point of the Kobblecreek property with breathtaking elevated views of the D’Aguilar Ranges overlooking 52 acres of native bushland abundant with native birdlife and wildlife. It lies approximately 10 minutes drive from the rural village of Dayboro, or 20 minutes from Samford Village. There are two other cottages on the property namely Wonga and Figtree cottage.

If you feel like entertainment the Eatons Hill Hotel, Samford Hotel and Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge are only are short 12 minute drive from the cottage. There are lots of walks within the area and restaurants.
