Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". The Secret Orchard is a self-contained apartment. Matt (your host) lives above. Built around 1685 it has many historic features. It has been home to three famous artists from 1848 to 1920. It sits within a large walled garden which has an orchard, cute hens, two ponds, a large trampoline and a sun-trap patio. Two minutes from the Fife Coastal Path and beach and a large park to cycle around. Dysart Harbour featured on Outlander and is very historic.
