Peaceful Cabin in the Heart of North Country

Our beautiful cabin sits in Clarksville on 6 private acres, close to major ATV and snowmobile trails, as well as the Hurlburt Nature Conservancy Area. We are minutes from Lake Francis and the Connecticut Lakes in NH's northernmost town, Pittsburg. While by no means primitive, our cabin is simple and rustic, and...in the woods. You may be visited by rabbits and coyote, or even a moose or deer grazing early in the morning. You may have the occasional cobweb, fly, swollen door, or sticky evening.

A comfy cabin set back off the 1st Connecticut Lake with a view; great for making wonderful family memories, a romantic couple's get-away, kids love it, a fun time with friends, fishermen's delight, hunters' heaven; full kitchen with microwave & coffee maker, indoor plumbing & hot water, 14' deck, short walk to shared dock in sheltered cove, access to snowmobile trails & 3 miles to ATV access. Just up the road from the village of East Burke, we are close to nearby amenities yet in a quiet hillside surrounded by nature, the perfect location for a weekend getaway, whether you are biking, skiing, hiking or exploring the Northeast Kingdom.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom. The other two bedrooms have 2 twin beds each, with their own hallway bathroom. Our large kitchen and open-concept dining/living room make for a great place to gather!

Dog friendly! TRAILER PLUS 1 VEHICLE or 2 VEHICLE PARKING ONLY. Cozy (500 sq ft) 2 bedroom cabin directly on Back Lake! Activities available in the area: ATV, snowmobiling, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, hunting & fishing! We provide a dock, 2 kayaks and 1 canoe shared with our Trailside cabin guests. 1st, 2nd, 3rd CT & Lake Francis are minutes away. Cook, BBQ or try a local restaurant: Rainbow Grill Tavern (Reservations required), 1840, Pitstop Pub, Buckrub Pub or Murphy's Steakhouse.

Back Lake Waterfront - ATV/Snowmobile Trail Access

The location of this charming and private cabin is perfect for your Pittsburg getaway. Located on a short dead end road you will immediately absorb the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful lake front scenery with just under 100' of frontage. This cabin has both ATV and snowmobile access without the need to trailer from the property. The boat launch is conveniently located 1/8 of a mile away and the local beach is a short paddle across the lake using the provided canoe and kayaks.

Camp Ursus rustic and peaceful

One room cabin with all the necessities. At initial entrance, you are in the screened in porch. This offers your firewood close to carry, many cozy chairs to lounge, and a get away from the summer bugs. Camp door is locked with a coded lock. Upon entry of camp you will be met with a welcoming home like feel. The only thing you will need are drinking water and sleeping bags. Bunks are fitted with clean linens. Come! Come enjoy camp living! NOTE: outhouse for bathroom duties. :)
