Lots of unique local shops to browse and restaurants. A local fishing and river guide is available. Nearby Scappoose Bay Kayaking offers many opportunities to sightsee, kayak or bird watch.

Fans of the “Twilight Saga” movies will be able to see multiple filming locations close by, including the Twilight Swan House. Elk Pass is nestled on our farmland of the Lower Columbia River. Oregon wildlife abounds. You can partake in homemade treats, including our signature Elk Pass beers. Our maximum stay is 2 weeks, on special approval only.

The Carpenter's Cottage

The carpenter's cottage is decorated in vintage woodworking and logging tools that have been used for several generations in our family. Rainier has a rich history of logging, lumber and woodworking. Some tools have been found nearby. Enjoy a peaceful country setting with deer, birds, occasional bobcat, squirrels, raccoons, occasional elk, but is a short walk to town. Watch deer munch on apples and relax in the shade as you walk around our 14 acres or enjoy them from your windows.
