Nestled in the Southwest Hills of Portland this lovely apartment provides a sanctuary away from the bustle of the city, yet is minutes from all that downtown Portland has to offer! 900 sq. ft., 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment furnished with mix of mid-century modern and classic modern appointments. Art, all original, includes paintings, photographs, sculptures, and folk art collected from around the world. Flat screen Smart TV with surround sound, cable TV, and access to Netflix and Pandora. Wi-Fi available throughout apartment. Living room includes wood burning fireplace and desk. Bedrooms connected by large sliding doors making each a private room, or if left open, a sitting room and bedroom. Queen sized bed in master, and a full sized futon couch with an innerspring mattress in the second bedroom. Bathroom newly remodeled, double sinks and a wonderful large shower with two shower heads. The Studio is perched in the southwest hills of Portland with an amazing view of Mt. Hood and the valley below. It requires a walk up 43 stairs to access but is worth every step. The Studio was built as a workspace for a local artist and provides an amazing view of Mt. Hood. Since converted to an escape from the normal urban confines of Portland. Easy access to downtown and walking distance to OHSU and the Veterans Hospital, it provides escape and accessibility. Did we mention the sunrise view!

A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.
