Tiny Barn

The Tiny barn is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with numerous walks from the working dairy and sheep farm - it is just the ground floor and has a small double bed with access to one side, sofa bed, small shower room and kitchenette. It has a dedicated Airband satellite hub for WiFi and is generally very good. It’s a very old building right in the middle of our farm near the cow sheds so expect lots of cows, tractors, farm smells and farmers! Guests can park just outside the tiny barn.

Located in the beautiful town centre, within a few minutes walk of the Quarry Park, Castle, shops and restaurants. If arriving by train, it’s a ten minute walk to the house. There are multiple car parks within a few minutes walk. There is an outdoor secure storage area, perfect for bikes. It’s an ideal location for exploring fabulous Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.

Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

The Walkers Rest Gated onto National Trust Forest

The walkers rest is a self contained 1 bedroom annexe attached to our family home. With it's own private entrance, garden and hot tub. There is direct access to The National Trust Wenlock Edge Forest, with breath taking views, miles of walking trails, bridle paths and cycle routes. Much Wenlock is a 2 min drive or a short walk through the forest to quaint shops and pubs. Shrewsbury, Iron bridge, Ludlow, Buildwas Abbey, Church Stretton, The Wrekin are some of the places within a short drive.

Its rural setting makes it a fab option for walkers, nature lovers and those looking for peace and quiet with scenic views, easy access to Shrewsbury (20 mins’ drive) and nearby pretty villages including Much Wenlock. Accommodation comprises a kitchen (w. slimline dishwasher), open plan sitting/dining area with log burner, bedroom (King Size bed), shower room and downstairs loo. Sofa bed on request (small double).

Its clean, modern and well equipped. The studio is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

This is a private en suite room, located in the peaceful village of Cardington, 5 miles from the market town of Church Stretton. The room has it's own private entrance and is separate to the owners house. A continental breakfast of cereal and pastries will be served to your room each morning at a time to suit you between 08.00 - 10.00. A very central location within easy walking distance of Shrewsbury town centre, the award winning indoor market, Theatre Severn, the Quarry Park, River Severn, railway and bus stations. Nearby there is a local shop, pubs and restaurants and the bus stops outside the house.

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access.
