The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

Enjoying a unique setting with sweeping views down the Glen, Balnacraig Farmhouse is located midway between Loch Ness and the city of Inverness ( 5 Minutes each way). Sitting in an historic highland estate the secured location has fully fenced gardens offering direct access to hill and forest walks up to the Great Glen Way and the wilderness of the highlands and yet is only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

Knockanbuie is a quiet, cosy holiday cottage in rural Nairnshire, with beautiful open views from every window. It was refurbished recently and has underfloor heating and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. It is a perfect place for family and friends to relax. The cottage and garden are for your use, there is a large area of lawn and grass all around the cottage. An ideal location for exploring the rich history of Scotland and to enjoy nature with lochs, beaches, forests and rivers nearby.

Serviced with a large bath and free standing shower unit and fully equipped kitchen with dinning table. Set within our lovely garden and surrounded by woodland just 200m off the back road - gives guests and children the safety and freedom to roam from the front door. Located just 15 minutes from Inverness airport.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Our cottage is located in the picturesque village of North Kessock on the Beauly Firth, outskirts of Inverness (the Black Isle) - a great neighbourhood at the start of the NC500 route. Short walk to hotel with bar & restaurant, café, local grocery shop/post office, bakers & gift shop. Nightlife & many restaurants available in Inverness, 10 minutes drive. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers & families (with kids). Easy access to all transport links. We welcome everybody.

The Lodge, Nutwood House

The Lodge is the west wing of Nutwood House, a unique property, once the Factor’s House and part of the Earl of Cromartie estate. Situated in a beautiful, peaceful location on the edge of the Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer, all amenities within 5 minutes walk. Magnificent views across the Peffery Valley. Private garden and many activities to enjoy, forest walks, mountain biking,fishing etc. Nearby places include the renown Rogie Falls.Great location and base to explore the Highlands.

Rowan Cottage, CrannachCottages

Rowan Cottage is situated in a secluded, peaceful 4 acre private woodland just outside the picturesque village of Garve on the North 500 Route. An ideal spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life with beautiful walks and cycling routes right on the doorstep. The Victorian cottage, with its own private garden, has been tastefully renovated with all modern amenities to ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms. Enjoy breathtaking walks and views and relax in the wood-fired hot tub after exploring. Only 10 minutes from Inverness and Beauly, it’s ideal for 4 adults plus 2 children in bunk beds. Inside, the cottage has a log burner, bath and separate shower for all-season comfort. Well-behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement with Katie.

Croft cottage, 334 Kinnauld, refurbished in 2021 is situated in the heart of the Highlands, a 5 minute drive from A9 and North Coast 500 route. 50 miles north of the Highland capital Inverness and a 15-minute drive to Dornoch. The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

Meikle Kildrummie dates back to 1670. Added later, the adjacent 200 year old cottage has been beautifully renovated and sits in a peaceful location within a 2 acre garden surrounded by open countryside. It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.
