[As of Dec 3] Reservations using Go To Travel Campaign for guests residing in or travelling to Tokyo
Tokyo Gov. Yuriko Koike announced on Tuesday, December 1st that Japanese residents aged 65 and over as well as those with pre-existing medical conditions should refrain from travelling to and from Tokyo utilizing the Go To Travel tourism promotion campaign. The following measures will be taken relating to these reservations using the Go To Travel campaign discount.

【Measures for new and existing reservations】
Senior citizens and those with pre-existing medical conditions are asked to refrain from travelling to and from Tokyo using the Go To Travel Campaign effective immediately until December 17th EOD, for new and/or existing reservations.
Guests who meet the following conditions will have their cancellation fees fully refunded:
- Travelling to or from Tokyo
- Cancels the trip between December 1st Tues 6PM and December 13th Sun EOD
- Are using the Go To Travel Campaign for all reservations that fall within the dates of December 1st Tues to December 17th Thurs
- Reservation should include at least one Japanese resident aged 65 and over and/or with pre-existing medical conditions
Please note that the initial cancellation fee hosts receive at this point may not be final. The final payout will be reimbursed in accordance with the Go To Travel campaign terms and conditions set by the administrative office. Please note that in some cases, you may not be reimbursed the full amount of the cancellation fee you have designated.
Please note payouts will be processed after review by the Go To Travel administrative office, and may take some time.
Depending on the coronavirus situation, it is possible that similar measures may be taken in other areas. Other various measures may be required depending on the situation.
