This quaint and unique place is close to Dunfermline town centre, Pittencrieff Park and a short walk to both bus and train stations for access to Edinburgh etc. Dunfermline has many historical sites including an abbey. The flat is situated on a quiet residential street with free on street parking. Guests have the use of the property owners garden and patio. The flat has it's own rear access with security lighting. A private guest house in a lovely garden, a quiet retreat outside the city centre of Edinburgh. The main living area comprises a double bed, dining area and kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle). This is not a full kitchen and does not include a sink. Off the main living area is a WC/shower room. Private access and a dedicated parking space is through a secure gate in a quiet lane. The city centre is a very easy 15 minute bus ride away and there are a number of regular busses.

My place is a spacious one bedroom flat on the ground floor, in a coastal town just under 40’ minutes from Edinburgh city centre by train or 45 minutes by bus. Ideal for those who enjoy walking coastal routes as the town has breathtaking views of the forth bridges. The town also has many restaurants, pubs, take away shops and supermarkets. My flat is ideal for those with a car exploring Scotland outside of the capital city or for those who like to mix the city life with the quiet countryside.

The Wee Glasshouse

The Wee Glasshouse is a modern, studio apartment in the picturesque coastal location of Dalgety Bay. It’s designed to enjoy breathtaking views of the bridges and is situated on the Fife Coastal Path with its many beaches and woodlands. The Wee Glasshouse has features similar to our own house which was filmed for More 4’s ‘Building The Dream’. TV Presenter Charlie Luxton visited several times to record its progress and was aired in Jan 2017. In 2020 it featured in Scotland’s Home of the Year.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, within 5 minutes walk to bus routes to the city centre and 10 minutes to the airport bus stop. By car, the city can be reached in 15 minutes. There are beautiful nearby walks down to the Forth River front and beach. The suite is attached to our family home but the connecting door will be kept locked ensuring your privacy.
