The Cypress Moon Inn is on the Shore of The Albemarle Sound. The Guest Rooms are Waterfront with a spectacular view to the West over the water. We serve a Continental Breakfast and our guests may use our bicycles,kayaks, paddleboard and beach equipment. We are in a natural quiet safe setting with no immediate neighbors. The Inn is of quality construction and with substantial furnishings. The Inn is 1.5 miles from the beach. We are non smoking. We cannot accept young children or pets.

Built in the style of the Outer Banks' inns of the 19th Century and enhanced with modern conveniences, the charm and comfort found in these rooms will greet you at every turn. The Captain's Quarters is one of the three master suites located in The Inn at Island Time. It is our most grand suite, featuring a two-person soaking tub, custom tile, a private deck, and a kitchenette with wet bar. The living area features a sofa, flat screen TV (Netflix), and a beautiful faux fireplace for mood lighting. Separated by a partial wall for privacy, the bedroom features a brand new Serta mattress & overlooks the pond. Enjoy a relaxing stay at “The Captain’s Quarters”.

The apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen, dining area and living area. One flight of interior stairs opens to a quaint reading nook. Upon entering the apartment you’ll see a living area with couch and two chairs, dining table with room for four, kitchen with large island/bar, and access to a private deck. Bathroom with shower is accessible off the hallway, and the two comfortable bedrooms are at the end of the hall. You can hear the ocean from the deck.

Cottage, Simply Relaxing - Surrounded by Water

Simply Relaxing. 1 bedroom (Queen) cottage on the grounds of the Colington Creek Inn B&B. The cottage has water views from all sides of the home. Imagine sitting and relaxing while watching the crab and shrimp fisherman come in and out of the canal. A bountiful breakfast is served daily at the inn and is included. The house is furnished with all linens, towels, cookware and Keurig. Kayaks and bikes are available. As much as we love them, no animals are allowed.

The 520 sq ft studio is luxurious and well appointed with a laid back feel. Apartment features a private ground floor entrance, free parking and a large covered porch. Just like the name implies, you can relax and recharge in my Green Room.
