Cassidy Homestead Guest Cabin

If you're looking for an authentic rustic Montana cabin experience with modern amenities, this is your place!! Situated between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks, this quaint rustic cabin is located in the small hamlet of southern Hall just off I-90 and 10min from Philipsburg. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and was built by homesteader Carl Cassidy in the early 1980's. His skillful primitive aesthetic and use of recycled materials gives the cabin a feeling it was built in the 1880's.

This cozy guest cottage is located three blocks from downtown. Unit is detached from main house and accessed off the alley adjacent to garage. Cottage has separate parking and beautiful views. This approximately 140 square foot space includes a half bathroom (no shower/tub), microwave, fridge, hot water kettle, desk, and queen bed. Smart tv/wifi and bluetooth speaker. An affordable, comfortable option for solo travelers or couples who just need a good spot to crash. New window AC in 2025.

It is an easy drive to Philipsburg and Butte. This is also a great stopping point between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. Not to mention the numerous outdoor activities nearby. Cottonwood Creek runs next door and a park across the street with views of Pikes Peak West out the front door.

You'll be centrally located to many attractions (3.5 hrs to Glacier NP, 3.5 hrs to Yellowstone NP, 1 hr to Missoula (MSO) or Helena (HLN). Need time to relax, reboot and recover? Copper Stack Chalet offers the serenity of Mill creek on 20+ acres set against the backdrop of a star-studded night sky. You’d imagine you were miles from civilization, but this ideal getaway is actually a centrally-located launch pad. However, if you need to get back to civilization, Anaconda, with its top-notch restaurant offerings, beautiful parks and the historic Washoe Theater, is a mere 7 miles away.

Cabin has one queen bed on main “open” floor, 2 beds in loft, (one queen and one full). Loft has a sturdy built in ladder, not suitable for toddlers or little kids. Equipped with gas cook top, refrigerator, microwave, sink, bathroom w/ shower, tv (DVD's and ROKU). Situated approximately 5 miles from the Clark Fork River, and 1 mile from public Montana Government Lands (Pontoon boats available to rent for self-guided tours, please inquire.)

Secluded Cabin 2 surrounded by National Forest

2 night minimum. Pets allowed with approval. All dogs are required to be on a leash and under supervision around the lodge and cabins. The property is a 65-acre guest ranch surrounded by the Helena National Forest on all sides. There is a 3 mile forest road that climbs over 1,000 feet to the ranch property. Guests enjoy solitude, views, wildlife... Arrival before dark is recommended. NO HUNTING ON OR FROM THE RANCH
