We’ve meticulously restored this country cabin with new amenities, a modern aesthetic and blazing fast Fiber optic WiFi. Franklin is an amazing location for exploring the West Catskills and includes many breweries, restaurants, hiking trails and antique shops. We’re 3 miles outside Franklin, 15 minutes from Walton NY and 30 minutes from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.

Welcome to Windy Ridge! Enjoy the rolling hills of country living and lounging on the wrap-around deck or next to the wood-burning stove. Our delightful country home offers a first floor bedroom with master bath, plus two additional bedrooms and full-bath on the second level. The hallway balcony overlooks the first-floor, and the skylights and vaulted ceiling offers an airy feel. There are views from every room, including a panoramic scenescape from the kitchen overlooking the nearby mountains.

Nestled between the towns of Hamden and Downsville, just over two hours from the GW Bridge and only minutes to the Delaware River and Pepacton Reservoir, this cabin is your perfect getaway.

The Shack

Looking for a secluded, quiet, low-key escape without being totally off grid? Our tiny house is tucked in a grove of trees with views you will remember for a life time. On top of our highest hay field where you can see the sunrise and sunset right on the front porch, not to mention the star-gazing! Visit our family owned dairy farm while you stay . For over 4 guests you may bring a tent and camp at The Shack and still enjoy all the amenities. This experience will be a once in a lifetime.

1820s Farmhouse 182 acres/Spring Fed Swimming Pond

Oak Hill Farm c1824, this farmhouse has been fully renovated with a modern take on upstate luxury. Situated on 183 acres of its own land, the house benefits from the views across the valley, spring fed swimming pond and a private mountain top. Enjoy morning strolls through our open hay fields, cookout on the covered deck with a wood burning smoker, gas grill, fire pit. The property has mowed trails through the hay fields, large pathways that are for hiking, foraging, wild life sighting.

Steady Slope Hummingbird (Fully Supported Site)

Please note we do not allow guests in the tent to check in after dark; giving a good orientation to the property in the dark is very difficult. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule! We're keeping this site open week-to-week weather dependent. There is no wood stove in this tent. Please see our other listing, the Hermit Thrush for a wood stove in the tent. The tent will be furnished with a small propane heater which is adequate when ambient temperatures are not too low.

RV with great views, 155 acres retreat like a park

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Live like at home while enjoying the nature. As late August of 2025, We are opening the first RV and two more will open soon. The RV model has max capacity of 8 people. We place each of the RV (Jayco) to a site with great view or in the woods. This 155 acre property has flat, mountain, spring water fed ponds, creeks, fruit trees, animals, this beautiful property is about 2 hours away from NYC. Hiking and fishing on the private land

Five Springs Cottage

A charmed home on a sloping hillside populated by hummingbirds and bunnies and surrounded by the split rail fences of a former horse farm. The cottage features an enormous wrap-around porch and a crystal clear pond. The ski slopes of Plattekill are visible from the living room. Between the home and the pond lies a cedar hot tub, heated year round​. The house fronts the official NY State snowmobiling trail S71 for added winter fun and is your private hiking trail in the summer.
