Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

With no running water or cooking facilities, this stay is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, and fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

We're excited to offer our guests a 5* experience with our custom built cabin. We worked closely with our friends at the award winning Corr Cabins to create a tranquil and luxurious get away on the beautiful Isle of Skye! Cabin Beo is located beside our home and takes in the breathtaking views over Portree Bay and over to the Old Man of Storr, from its full size picture window. The cabin comes fully equipped with a wood burning stove, kitchenette, luxurious king size bed and full bathroom.

Gael

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. With panoramic views over the Loch, surrounding mountains and Eilean Donan castle, yet within a mile of picturesque Dornie where you’ll find a pub, post office, shop and bakery/pizza takeaway.

The village of Dornie is home to the world famous Eilean Donan castle which is only a 10min drive from the cottage.
