There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

'Lilac Tree' is a quaint two bedroom cottage located in the historic village of Greyabbey on the shores of Strangford Lough, Ards Peninsula, opposite the beautiful Cistercian Abbey. A recently renovated 120 year old workers cottage, set off the main road with private parking and a large back garden that leads directly to the beach. On a high tide the sea can come within a metre or so from the bottom of the garden. Whilst the beach is a public space it is typically only utilized by the residents due to the limited access points along the shore. The perfect setting to enjoy life by the sea and explore the beautiful Ards Peninsula.

Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.
