A chocolate-box thatched cottage, set on the babbling Budleigh brook. This pretty mid-terraced house is a half hour walk through a beautiful nature reserve to Budleigh Salterton, with its beach, the coast path and amenities. East Budleigh is a wonderful village, with a great community-run pub, a church, a shop and adjoining boules court and playpark. The cottage has two bedrooms -the double (with shower room) and a single. The sitting room, well equipped kitchen and bathroom are downstairs.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

The cottage is perfect for walkers giving easy access to the South West coast path and the River Otter with a wide variety of birds or if you are lucky, wild beavers. Nearby the Jurassic Coast at Ladram Bay or the seaside towns of Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth. For city attractions, Exeter has everything you could wish for. A great base for exploring this area of east Devon.

The village offers a welcoming pub/restaurant, and Otterton Mill is just a short stroll away. Ladram Bay is only one mile via public footpaths. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, making it perfect for exploring with your four-legged companion. This is a no smoking property.
