Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

3 Church Mews Cottage (EAST COWES) is a 2 bedroom cottage that forms part of an award winning church conversion on the IOW. A few yards from the chain ferry to West Cowes and 1 min walk from the main car ferry at East Cowes. Also a few mins walk from the beach and esplanade. The building is Grade II listed and features include the original stained glass windows in the living room and bedroom and arched sash windows throughout, adjacent to Cowes Harbour and offers fantastic views of the Solent.
