Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. “Little Hawthorn Cottage” in Laughton, East Sussex has been lovingly transformed into habitable accommodation. It beautifully retains the charm and elegance of the surroundings while offering modern amenities to our guests. Located 5 miles from Lewes, quietly sitting in the grounds of our 120 year old cottage and within curtilage of the impressive and historic Laughton Place tower. Little Hawthorn is situated 1 mile from the nearest main road, with access via an unmade, rustic farm track.

The Old Stables is a completely self-contained detached building with its own parking space, in the village of Buxted. The Old Stables benefits from sitting on the edge of a wild meadow where guests are welcome to take a stroll or enjoy the wildlife and peaceful birdsong. There are two pubs, a shop and train station within a 5 minute walk. Set within the boundaries of Ashdown Forest there are numerous lovely walks on the doorstep and the town of Uckfield is a short drive away.

Sunset lodge is the perfect retreat for luxury relaxation. There are many lovely walks, including the river walk to Bodiam castle. There are many eateries within walking distance and Rye, Tenterden, Camber and Hastings all a short car journey away. We are located on the edge of a small family camping park - Rother valley park- which is a family run, chilled and quiet place to be. The views and sunsets are stunning. Enjoy a drink on the balcony whilst watching the sun go down 🙂

It is the ideal place to turn off that phone and unwind with your glass of your favourite tipple in the woodfired hot tub underneath the big starry sky.

“Beautiful and cosy” converted barn

We are offering a beautifully converted barn, in a secluded spot about 150m from our house, at the bottom of the garden. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We are happy to welcome a well-behaved dog. We are in the Wealden Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of the Ashdown Forest - Winnie the Pooh territory - and within easy travelling distance of Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne, Glyndebourne, Lewes, Brighton and London.

The Other Red Hut

Unique self built studio cabin in a peaceful setting only a stones throw away from the Nature Reserve - replicating the well known Red Hut in Rye Harbour. PLEASE NOTE : The wc/shower room is a separate building adjacent to the main hut. The sink area is also outside the hut. There’s a patio area which looks towards the Martello tower (The enchantress)
