River Roost has three B&B en-suite rooms in a private house with private entrances. Meals will be provided by arrangement. We are situated in a two hectare garden on the Bushmans river. Birders will be able to enjoy forest, coastal and river birds. Fishermen will be able to cast a line tidal river. There is enough space for our guests to be private, but we like to offer a family experience. Down by the Bushmans river we also offer a self-catering 2 bedroom river cottage.

The space can be rented out as a double room for a travelling couple or take the twin room as a family unit which then includes double and twin accommodation. My home has an inverter so my lights are never off and I also provide a most enjoyable light breakfast on the veranda each morning.

Your artist hostess designed and furnished the cottage so expect quality yet quirky, uncluttered decor. The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and light and overlooks a large organic garden. With its own access and safe off-street parking your privacy is guaranteed. Recently added free Wi-Fi, and a solar system with back up gas geyser which means I don't depend on the national grid for power.
