Mevy, A Victorian Slip Coach

Award-winning beautifully converted Victorian railway carriage. Mevy is sumptuous, with gilded maple and mahogany panels, velvet upholstery and a roll top bath. Family and allergen friendly, we can provide a cot and high chair on request. Mevy sleeps five, but two bunks are only 5'7" so only for smaller people. Lovely view over rolling hills. Mevy has all mod cons but is very eco friendly - Railholiday have won numerous national and local awards for our green approach . Sorry, no pets in Mevy.

The Red Train Carriage

The Red Train Carriage is a special place to stay next to the train tracks of The Swanage Railway. We believe it was built in about 1858 for GER as a 2nd class passenger carriage. It was just a shell when we got it, with it's original walls, doors, ceiling and floor, but the seating had been removed. There was only a few clues about its history in some of the doors and windows. We have saved as much of the original carriage as possible whilst making it a comfortable place to stay for a week.

Le logement est fourni avec serviettes et linge de lit fait. Il y aura aussi : thé, café, savons (…) pensez à remplacer ;)

Millpool - A Victorian carriage perfect for all

Millpool is airy and light. A characterful carriage perfect for singles or couples. Stunning views in a great village location. Millpool is designed to be fully accessible, but you don't have to be in a wheelchair to enjoy Millpool, it is perfect for everyone. Although we don't offer breakfast, our usual welcome pack will be provided, which includes a starter pack of milk, tea, coffee, local apple juice and biscuits. The Bolthole on Pagham Beach + The Hut

THE BOLTHOLE on Pagham Beach is a world away on the peaceful Pagham Harbour RSPB nature reserve. Based around a Victorian railway carriage, THE BOLTHOLE has been lovingly renovated to include all creature comforts and super fast wi-fi! The original railway carriages remain and you will sleep 'first class' under their bowed ceilings! In addition a modern kitchen provides all you need to prepare your catch of the day and a open plan lounge allows space to kick back and relax.

Madgeon’s view is a unique and lovingly restored railway carriage on our regenerative farm in the Blackdown hills AONB. Formerly part of the Madgeon estate in the 1800s, this secluded spot gives you exclusive, sole use to relax and enjoy the view with your partner and 4 legged friends. There is easy access from the M5 and A303, providing a great base to explore the Blackdowns, Somerset countryside and attractions and the beautiful Jurassic coast.
