We took a metal box & designed & built what is now the Evangeline. Mae's Cottage is a peaceful little bay house located right off of Interstate 10 in Milton (< 1 mile) and is within steps to the beautiful Blackwater River and Bay. It is approximately 100 yards from water access where you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking or just watching the sun set. There is a public boat launch so bring your boat/jet skis/kayaks and fishing gear and head out to the beautiful waters of Blackwater Bay. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful little bungalow.

Come visit our 100 year old Farmhouse. It has a unique history. It was a brothel and gambling establishment during the prohibition era. It’s even been rumored to have been visited by Al Capone and a US President! Today, it is a charming hobby farm filled with vintage flair and cozy spaces. We offer a suite of four rooms with a private entrance. There are two bedrooms, a living room, and a private bathroom all on a dedicated second floor. Lots of privacy, and you can enjoy the grounds.
