Kaj boste počeli

Udon is a kind of Japanese noodle, which is very popular and common in Japan. However, most people(even restaurants) in Japan don't make Udon by themselves and just buy it from supermarket or factory simply because it takes time and needs muscle strength.
In this activity, we are going to make Udon by our foot!!!!!!!
YES, It sounds crazy, but we are going to do it. Trust me, actually it works very well. With our foot, making Udon from scratch becomes not that difficult. In the class, I will not only teach you how to cook but also will mention some knowledge about how to eat healthily and how to buy ingredients correctly. After making udon, we will also cook udon fish stork and simmered Wagyu beef together. At the end of this activity, you will get Udon, simmered Wagyu beef, a Mochi dessert and full recipe. (Children are super welcome. They needs to be over 8 years old or older)

Cooking with Sho was absolutely fantastic. With his background in chemistry we really enjoyed the detailed explanations on how different ingredients activated others, making things like proofing time, cooking temperature more understandable, relatable and easier to remember. We enjoyed the way he was always ready to share more knowledge when asked, and enthusiastic about engaging us. Also, his recipe is delicious - we had a great lunch. We’ve been to other Japanese cooking classes during our trip, and if you’re looking for an insight into Japanese cooking, this is definitely one of the best value options out there.

Sho is an expert in the kitchen. He is fast paced and to the point and the lesson flows smoothly from udon to wagu and back again. He was incredibly informative about the intricacies and simplicity of Japanese cooking. I would definitely recommend this class.

I really loved this experience with Sho. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable about cooking, both from the perspective of traditional cooking methods as well as his understanding of the molecular level (from his chemistry background). I learned much more in this session than just how to make Udon with beef. Thank you for so much for a wonderful morning, Sho!

We had a wonderful experience with Sho! He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable in his test kitchen from the moment we arrived. Beyond learning how to make the dish, Sho provided a lot of valuable information related to chemistry and quality ingredients that left us with a better understanding of what makes quality food good. Of course, the final product was a delicious soup! We wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun activity that teaches valuable information within it!

A great experience being able to personally make our own udon. There was more to simply making the udon, and having recently moved to Japan it was useful to get some insight into ingredient shopping as well as how to make the Udon from scratch. Since we took the class my wife and I put a lot of what we learnt into practice and were able to produce our own udon, dashi, and topping. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
