Enjoy this peaceful spot surrounded by water on 3 sides of DeRuyter Lake in upstate NY. Set on a peninsula, this home has a lot of fun features, including a full lawn, screened in wrap around porch facing the water, outdoor BBQ area, fire pit, and seasonal private dock and boat slip. The Boathouse Restaurant is just a walk away. The friendly DeRuyter Lake General Store you can see from the porch windows on the south end. Please provide your own sheets, blankets, and towels. Your Nest in the Woods Treehouse is a great place for adults to feel like a kid again and to unwind in the woods or down by the water! A cozy get-away for couples, or small group get together! (The Nest is not suitable children or pets). The tree house has front and back decks. Under the treehouse is a sheltered picnic table area, propane grill, and a wood fire pit and outdoor games. Hang out by the overlook and enjoy the view or follow trail down to Fish Creek water access.

Stay a night at our tiny Hobbit House

We are close to Syracuse NY, Jamesville Beach,and Tully. You’ll love our place because - Well, its a Hobbit House :). Very cozy 12 by 12 cabin set in the back of my land right where the woods start. Small cabin good for a couple and maybe a child or two but no more than that. It has an outhouse. If this is sounding too basic or off the grid then please don't book! :) because that's exactly what is. But you also get to say you stayed in a cozy little hobbit house.
