Full of character and features, the COTTAGE combines the old and new perfectly so you have a truly comfortable stay including use of a new hot tub. There is plenty nearby to explore; from the many footpaths that can be accessed close by to Ceredigion's Heritage Coast and it's only 6 miles from the picturesque, Georgian town of Aberaeron.

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Y Beudy is one of our 2 cottages, along with Y Bwthyn, it is a ground level cottage, converted from a stone cowshed with wheelchair access. Open plan lounge with log burner and kitchen/diner, double bedroom, bunk bed bedroom, wet room bathroom & original vaulted ceilings & beams throughout. With a private, enclosed, dog friendly, south facing garden, the views are beautiful. Red Kites circle overhead & the entire property is surrounded by farmland, with 5 acres of our land for you to explore.

The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. Along with the spectacular sea views guests can enjoy relaxing on their private balcony whilst watching the dolphins play. Why not fire up the bbq provided for al fresco dining! With only a 5 minute stroll to the harbour and beaches guests can enjoy a variety of activities including wildlife boat tours, watersports and lovely reastaurants and pubs.

Aberdar Country Cottage and Cinema Cabin

A cottage set in the idyllic Welsh countryside. The open plan kitchen/diner leads through to a seating area with wood burning stove. A separate downstairs lounge contains the original oven/stove and has a large window seat providing beautiful views across the valley. Aberdar is perfect for getting away from it all and provides a great base for walking, bird watching or exploring the picturesque counties of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.

Wildernest - Ty Twt

Ty Twt - neat and cosy - is part of Wildernest, a haven set in the coastal hills above the delightful Aeron Valley. Sleeping is in the croglofft, above the kitchen-living space, with the 2nd bedroom and the shower room at ground level; underfloor heating and log burner. It can sleep 4 but we say 3 people comfortably. Hence, there's no charge for a fourth person. If you need the second bed to be made up please enter 3 (or 4) guests.
