Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Esrum is a small quit village placed 50km outside Copenhagen. Esrum is beautiful situated next to one of Denmark greatest forest, Gribskov, and in working distance to Esrum Lake. Gribskov offers many outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and much more. Esrum monastery is placed 100meter from the house, and offers museum and different activities. In the daytime there are a Café serving light dishes. Nearest grocery store is in the next village, 3km away.

Anneks i Helsinge med udsigt til mark og skov

Denne naturperle ligger nord for Helsinge i Kongernes Nordsjælland med udsigt til åbne marker og skov. Der er 200 m. til skoven hvor der er gode chancer for at gå på svampejagt eller bare gå en tur i den dejlige natur. Det er meget almindeligt at skovens dyr går lige udenfor vinduerne. Det kan fx være rådyr, dådyr og krondyr. Du kan oplade din elbil hos os. Vi har særskilt elmåler, så der afregnes efter de dagspriser, der findes på andre offentlige ladestander.

A unique thatched house right at the waterfront. The view from the Balcony is nothing more than fabulous. The house has direct acces to the beach and the jetty. The house is refurnished, and everything is welcoming and delicious. What you hear when you open the Balcony-doors, is the sound of the waves and the wind in the trees. Overnat i vores hyggelige anneks midt i slotsbyen tæt på slot, handelsgaden, søen og flere skønne spisesteder. Annekset er ca 30 kvm og I skal sove på en hems med en dobbeltseng (180 cm bred). Der er brusebad, tekøkken (1 kogeplade), sofa, spisebord og jeres private østvendte terrasse med en fantastisk udsigt over Fredensborg. Annekset blev bygget af August Bournonville (balletmester), der fra 1854-1879 brugte hovedhuset som sommerresidens.
