The self-contained space has a loft room with views over the dams & mountains, a queen bed with 100% cotton bedding, bathroom and a kitchenette downstairs. A borehole supplies water. DSTV, WiFi, tea, coffee & kitchen essentials (spices & olive oil) are provided. Bring your own rod for catch & release trout fishing (daily rod fees apply).

Die Koeistalle

Tucked away on the edge of Rosendal, Die Koeistalle is a lovingly restored guesthouse as old as the town itself. The open-plan living area, once a working cowshed when Rosendal was still a farm, is one of the oldest surviving buildings in town. As Rosendal came to being, the old shed was transformed into a brickworks, supplying bricks to the first houses in Rosendal. Today, its stone walls and timber beams stand beside newer additions, creating a seamless blend of heritage and comfort.

The living area is heated by a wood burning fire place and the bedroom en-suite has an air conditioner. Braai facilities on site as well as a Smart TV with DSTV and WiFi. Two to three kms from the centre of town, on a mountain side. It is the bottom level of a three storey house but completely private and not affected by loadshedding.
