Peaceful Little Haven

I live in a remote area providing you with a “get away from it all” experience! I live directly on a beach. In the fall, you can fish bass. At low tide, you can dig clams. If you’re not ready to experience all country wooded living and all that nature brings, perhaps this is not the place for you! I try hard to ensure limited encounters with mosquitoes, etc, but, I can’t control nature. A screened-in deck facing beach was made so that you can sit and enjoy my spectacular sunsets in peace.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Une salle de bain complète commune et une salle d'eau commune sont situées au 1e étage. Le gîte compte 3 chambres totalisant un maximum de 6 personnes. 2 plages à 5 minutes de marches dont celle des beaux sables!

The best place to unwind

Very quiet place, 2 km from the ''Dune de l'Ouest'' beach. Wonderful sunsets. Fridge, stove, microwave, washer and dryer included. No heating, no air conditioning. ** NOTE** : cottage situated in the middle of a field. There might be mice, mosquitos and other bugs. This place may not be for you. Guesthouse 4

Our Guesthouses are uniquely located in a farm like setting with Alpacas, chickens and our guard llama Kimmy! This unit has a kitchenette, a queen bed in the master and two singles in the loft (an optional cot is available for one more guest). On our site you will find the largest Antique Sore on the east coast, a pottery and art studio, the Bored Whale Cafe open for breakfast and lunch.

Located on the Gulf of St. Lawrence in Forillon National Park, Auberge La Petite Forillon is an eco-friendly property. This non-profit organization provides socio-cultural and sports services. You will also find a community hostel located in Cap-aux-Os. Formerly a primary school, the building was refurbished as a community recreation center after it closed in 1997.
