When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. 30 sqm. cozy studio apartment in brick house which is about 100 years old. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor, no elevator in the house. There is a beautiful Ziediņdārzs park 3-4 minutes walk. One minute walk from the apartment there are two grocery stores, gym, pharmacy, hygienic goods and cosmetic store, in front of the house Tram stop. Along the street is a bicycle path. You can walk to the old town for 20 minutes moving all the time straight, without turning to other streets.
