The private courtyard is located right off of the kitchen with a Weber charcoal grill and seating for four as well. Central heat and air, dishwasher, wifi, Keurig coffee maker, iron/ironing board and blow dryer. This apartment, as well as the courtyard, is private. You have your own gated entrance. It is not a shared space. We live on the property so if there is something you need, we can quickly respond and assist you. The home is in the historic, offbeat Marigny district, known for its bistros, bars, and music venues, adored by locals as well as vacationers. Walk to the French Quarter, Bywater, and Frenchman Street. Public transport and bike rental are close by. Located steps away from the St Claude bus line and a 8 minute walk to the St Claude streetcar line, both can take you to every part of the city. Walk or bike to Frenchman St and the French Quarter. Our house was built between 1897 and 1903. The light, airy 700 sqft unit was completely renovated in 2007 and recently received a nice fresh coat of paint. K/B have tiled floors and counters, rest of the spacious apartment has lovely Brazilian Cherry floors. Professional photography (my own) grace the walls. We live on the other side. This is not a party house, we're looking for quiet guests who will enjoy our home and neighborhood.
