This cosy self contained apartment is attached to the Owners house but has its own entrance and private off road parking. It is a quiet suburban location with the town of Westport easily accessible less than five minutes walking on street lit footpaths. This is the ideal location for couples looking for a romantic escape away yet close to the restaurants and night life of Westport or for young families looking for somewhere that easily accesses that many amenities that the town has to offer.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

It is about a 10 min walk to Newport town,you will find shops, pubs restaurants, a takeaway and bike hire to name but a few.Parking in front of tiny home and direct access onto the Greenway. Waterfront Cottage is located on The Wild Atlantic Way. Stay at this recently refurbished cosy cottage in picturesque Newport, nestled on the shores of Clewbay. The cottage is located at the heart of The Great Western Greenway and The Wild Atlantic Way! Ballycroy National Park is also close by! Waterfront Cottage overlooks the Black Oak River and enjoys wonderful views of the area. This is the perfect base for hillwalking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, stargazing, exploring or relaxing!

Rose Cottage Farm Private Unit-1 km to town center

No. 58 is a very cosy two bedroom mid terrace house opposite McHale Park (GAA) in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. The downstairs living area consists of a kitchen/dining, sitting room, work station and utility leading to an enclosed rear yard where one can bask in the sunshine and relax ! McHale road is a very friendly community in a cul de sac and is a 15 minute walk to the town centre with shops, pubs and entertainment. It is also a 10 minutes walk from the train station.

Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.
