A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. Island View sleeps 12. It is a 6-bedroom property with amazing uninterrupted views across Roaring Water Bay, to Heir and Sherkin Islands, Baltimore and Cape Clear. Cunnamore Pier and the regular passenger ferries to Heir Island and, in the summer, Sherkin Island is a few minutes further down the road. There are beaches with safe swimming very close by as well as opportunities to moor small dinghy’s and sailing craft. Island View is a 15 minute drive from Skibbereen.

The Fastnet Cottage has a loft bedroom and small living area that is part of a small enclave of houses, all owned by the same family. The Fastnet Cottage and Knockagullane, along with a double bedroom located above the boathouse, are available to rent separately or in any combination. The family’s main house is not rented out.

It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.
