Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The high roof inside creates a good and spacious feeling making it easy for family and friends to enjoy life together during all times of the year.

Luxury summer house with great view to nature

This luxury summer house from 2004 (125 m2) in the popular but quiet seaside resort of Rågeleje is located peacefully on a large site (1.900 m2) with panorama view to nature. Lots of birds can be seen from the house. The beach of Rågeleje and Vejby Strand is less than 2 km away and so is the famous nature reserve Heather Hill. The house is fully equipped, well insulated and heated and has a large terrace facing south. Ideal for two families with children or groups of four-five couples.

The House is located on a 3.600 square meters plot, where the 2.000 square meters are beach and sea. The beach is private (though the public has access). But since it is private and there is no big parking lot you'll mostly have the beach to yourself!

Fantastisk hyggeligt sommerhus med plads til leg og afslapning beliggende mellem Rågeleje og Gilleleje midt i skøn natur. Med kun 10 minutters gang til stranden kan man hurtigt få sig et kølende dyp i havet. Turen til stranden går gennem det smukke naturområde “AP Møller grunden”, der om sommeren er det perfekte sted til en picnic. Sommerhuset emmer af hygge - både ude og inde. Og på de regnfyldte dage, kan sommeraftenerne stadig nydes ude, under den skønne overdækkede terrasse.

Brændeovnen er hovedkilde til opvarmning, der er el-varme på badeværelse lidt gulvvarme som er tændt når strømmen er billig. Haven ligger helt ugeneret med plads til spil, sport og leg.

Sofa kan endvidere omdannes til 2 sovepladser, såfremt behovet er 6 overnattende. Fra to skønne træterrasser og den store grund kan solen nydes fra tidlig morgen til sen aften.

It has one main room with two beds put together, a separate kitchen for simple cooking and a bathroom. The terasse has a roof and is surrounded by flowers, trees and bushes. Suited for a romantic getaway.
