This totally off-grid 1345 acre property has its own solar power system, harvests all its own water and is located on the outskirts of the Atherton Tablelands in the farming district of Dimbulah on route to Mt Mulligan and Chillagoe. Just constructed with 2 large bedrooms both with spacious ensuites, separated by a welcoming kitchen/dining/living area with a generous verandah across the front of the house.

Sit back on the covered outdoor area with a beverage, overlooking the property and dam, and bask in the serene sounds of the country, beautiful sunsets, farm animals and wildlife.

Beautiful spacious farm house on the Walsh river just 95km from Cairns. Perfect for a group or family getaway wanting complete privacy. Cook your pizza in an authentic pizza oven or canoe on the river. Black Swan farm is the perfect spot to unwind with a bottle of wine and a fire next to the river. The bird-life on the river is absolutely stunning and if you are a keen fisherman, make use of the handlines and catch a black bream. Pets are welcome to enjoy the property too. Great family spot.

Outdoor area, acess to fire pit, bbq and pizza oven. Kids play area. Ample parking. Set in 170 acres of bushland, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl and stacks of native animals and plants. On the highway halfway between Gladstone and Rockhampton, ideal stop for a restful night or days exploring.

Mena Creek Flower House, "The Birdsnest"

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. We do have 2 other cabins on the property to accommodate larger families or groups. 7mins from Paronella Park. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer providing breakfast.

Raglan Heritage School

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Raglan school is a cozy historic schoolhouse overlooking the school oval to the mangroves lining Raglan creek. Sit round the fire pit while saying hello to the resident animals, goats, sheep, our gelding Sav and his little brother Herbie our orphan yearling foal. You can stay inside and play a board game or sit back with a book on the screened veranda. Plenty of birds will keep you company. Take a break from tech and enjoy nature.

Mission Beach Farmstay

Daily rate is for a couple using the king bedroom. If you want to use an extra bedroom, it is $30 per person per night. Book at the extra person rate. Modern cottage in traditional Queenslander style, just a few minutes drive to the beach, to cafes, restaurants and retail shops. Relax on our organic fruit farm with stunning views to world heritage rainforest. There are little touches to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Plenty of room for families.

From the moment you enter the driveway you will feel the pressures of everyday life slip away. The 40 acre farm is situated in Lake Eacham and bordering Lake Eacham national park.
