The pretty village of Great Longstone is set in a wonderful location in the heart of the Peak District National Park, flanked by Longstone Edge, with Bakewell and Chatsworth House close by.

Set on the main road 200 yds from the centre of Bakewell, it is in a great location, just a short stroll from the town’s pubs, restaurants and shops. Located in the heart of the White Peak, this beautifully presented rural retreat provides a comfortable base, whether you’re looking to enjoy some fresh air and long country walks, conquer the highest peaks or simply to relax and unwind in a friendly village pub.

Leaside Cottage, Great Longstone, Bakewell.

Our lovely 18th century cottage was completely renovated to the highest standard in 2016 with solid oak fittings throughout offering guests luxury and homely accommodation. The cottage easily accommodates 3 people with one double bedroom with king size bed and one spacious single bedroom. The cottage has full central heating with radiators in all rooms, and under floor heating in the kitchen. For extra cosy nights there is also a log burning stove in a Derbyshire gritstone fireplace.

Idyllic, The Coach House, Ashford-in-the-Water

A beautiful, recently converted, barn which was originally a Coach House. Totally newly renovated in 2018 this two bed, two bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' field to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Separately available is Groom's Cottage, next door, also brand new and sleeping 2 people in equal style.

Joiners Cottage, Ashford in the Water, Bakewell

Joiners Cottage is a cosy 300 year old stone built cottage situated a hundred yards away from the River Wye in this delightful village. Joiners Cottage is full of character and has been lovingly renovated to maintain the character but we have added some 21st century luxury including a log burning stove for those cosy nights in! The village has 2 pubs, and the corner shop at the end of Church Street has been in existence for over 100 years and is an outlet for many local needs.

Sleeps 4 stylish cottage close to the Monsal Trail

Applehoe Cottage is a beautifully refurbished country cottage nestled in the heart of the village of Great Longstone nr Bakewell. This 2 bedroomed holiday cottage is perfect for a romantic hideaway or cosy family retreat. Dog Friendly, we can accept 1 dog, and an additional fee of £30.00 is payable. Idyllic village location with a shop & two great pubs within walking distance. A short walk to the Monsal Trail & the perfect base to visit Derbyshires fine country estates.

Black Swan Cottage

This lovely cottage dates back to 1570 and is thought to be the oldest in the village. It is Grade 2 listed and has a wealth of beams and character. There is a great log fire in the cosy sitting room for those long winter nights. You can begin many walks into Derbyshire countryside from the door and plenty of pubs are within walking distance. The River Wye runs through the village - perfect for cooling that bottle of wine.

Cosy Little Cottage in the Peak District

A walker and cyclist's paradise with Monsal Head only a short walk over the hills. Found upon a hill with some lovely views, surrounded by the peaceful country air in a conservation area, our little cottage is situated on a small farm In Wardlow. A fully self-contained holiday home with its own front and back door. A private yard which overlooks the surrounding fields. Thank you again.
