Endless Ionian Breezes at a House on the Island of Ithaca

Lounge on a hillside terrace with sea views as the refreshing sea breeze is flowing all day long. In the evening air carries the scent of jasmine and honeysuckle. A serene atmosphere continues indoors with potted plants, elegant built-in furnishings, and tasteful decor in muted earth tones. Lighting and other details complete the serenity. The house has an airy relaxed ambiance, combining modern architecture with traditional elements. You can enjoy high quality materials, high ceilings, playful light and fine linen. A bluetooth speaker is available to enjoy your favourite music from your computer. Bedrooms have bathrooms en suite. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and espresso coffee machine is provided. A built stone BBQ is available for use. For the colder months, there is a pellet stove along with electric blankets that give it a warm feeling. You have access to our own home grown vegetable garden, according to the season of course. I am available at all times for any assistance required. Though the island of Ithaki is small, it has many hidden treasures. It is my pleasure to help you explore them. Any holiday related services, like rentals or bookings can be arranged upon request. Ithaki island is a quite and rather intimate place with lots of treasures to discover. The house is in the village of Ag. Saranta, a traditional settlement in the northern part, overlooking Afales Bay. The beach nearby with amazing water is 5 min drive away. The village of Stavros, with all amenities, and the fishing village of Frikes are both 1.5 kilometers away. Unfortunately, there is no public transport in Ithaki. Hiring a car is highly advisable Access to Ithaki is via Cephalonia, Patra, Astakos and in the summer months from Lefkas as well.

An open space beach house, of 60 s.m. for 6 pax with 1 double bed, 2 sofa beds and 2nd room with 2 single beds very stylish and comfortable. It is decorated with boho and cozy design styling combined with Cycladic culture. The house has direct access to a sea view veranda, with a big dining table. It is situated on a small bay, with similar moon white rocks as Sarakiniko that form a secluded cove in front of the house, together with Aqua house 1 & 3. At the first level where is the entrance of the house you can relax on the dinning couch watching the caldera view! At the second level you will enjoy the sun and a 270 degrees view including the volcano relaxing at many choices such us the jacuzzi or the big sun beds or a couch or Acapulco style lounge chairs. Inside the house is a fully equipped kitchen , bathroom and two bedrooms!
