Moss Vineyards Lodging

We welcome you to our new modern house (2020) located on 52 private wooded acres, adjacent to our winery and the Blue Ridge. Designed and built by award winning Architect and wine maker, Barry Moss, it is gorgeous inside and out. Decks overlook the river, forest and mountain farms. A path leads down to the river beach. Walk up to the top of the mountain and experience the best wines and views of any winery in Virginia. Modern interiors with wood floors, granite counters, and tiled bathroom.

Originally a tavern built 1790 in the Williamsburg style, the Ordinary sits 6/10 mile off the main road--no other house in sight. 22 miles from Shenandoah National Park, convenient to local vineyards, the Ordinary is set on 650 acres in conservation easement; solar energy; generator in event of power outage; outdoor fire pit; 2 great fireplaces; wood provided by owner. The house is over 200 years old with narrow, steep steps and may not be suitable for children and people with mobility issues.

The stone fireplace warms the heart and soul on a cool evening. Minutes from the Shenandoah National Parkway, the Blue Ridge School and several beautiful wineries. Approx. 12 miles from CHO airport, 20 min from Blue ridge Parkway, 10 min. to Standardsville and 20 miles to Charlottesville.

Secluded unique wood and stone home an 65 beautifully landscaped acres with 2,000 feet of river frontage.
