Our popular "gastropub" local is only 100m from your door, and a well-stocked village shop with Suffolk-sourced produce and all the essentials is just opposite. There's a farmshop and nursery in the village, plus a children's play area over the road. Enquire for bike hire.

It is perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk Coast, historic sites like Framlingham and Orford Castles, Sutton Hoo and Snape Maltings and is a great area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, with the magnificent Minsmere RSPB reserve just 8 miles away. Our Cottage is pet friendly for one dog, please add this when you make your booking. Due to the authentic nature of the cottage it is not suitable for infants or the infirm with its Suffolk brick flooring.

This country cottage dates to 1880. It is on the outskirts of Wenhaston, 5 miles from the coast. It is a real escape to the country, overlooking Suffolk Wildlife Trust reserve. With cows grazing and birds singing it seems idyllic. Lavender cottage sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms, a king size master, double bedroom and single bedroom. The modern kitchen/diner with new appliances has dining for 6, while the cosy living room has a log burner. Accessed down a bridle path.
