The cottage is self contained and is a well designed space that accommodates a queen sized bed, bathroom and a separate study and is set in an enchanting cottage garden. The well equipped kitchen is in a separate space though part of the cottage and is accessed by its own door from the decking, so you don't have far to go. In the morning lorikeets and other wild birds come to feed and you will be awoken to the romantic sound of birdsong. During spring and summer the garden is at its loveliest.

Spacious renovated apartment in the garden behind our 19th century Victorian house with its own entrance along the side path. Close to several parks, swimming pool/gym/tennis complex, and Queens Parade shopping strip. The neighbourhood is 4 km from the Melbourne CBD, and 100 meters from 86 tram to city and train station, and bus line along Hoddle Street. All this provides easy access to city, MCG, Rugby Stadium, Tennis Centre, Theatres and NGV. We are empty nesters with a kelpie dog, Peppy.

It has a private entrance and outdoor sitting area. The Alphington train station and buses to the city are all within 5-minute walk. Local market is on every Sunday by the Alphington station. A uniquely Melbourne experience - perfect for an extended (or short) stay. The Stables were originally built in 1880 for the horses that serviced the Victorian home they are situated behind. The Stables have been converted into a spacious, sun-lit, private, fully self-contained accommodation over 2 levels with a shared garden and independent access (allowing you to come and go as you please). It is a short stroll to great food, leafy Edinburgh Gardens, public transport and bike paths.

Rustic backyard cottage in East Brunswick

This rustic little studio cottage is a 8x5m room in my backyard. It is also connected to my art studio on the south side. There is a separate side gate entrance on the right or West side of the house with a keycode. I will send this to you directly. The cottage is fully self-contained, kitchenette, frig, microwave, electric plug in hotplate, shower, toilet, WIFI, table & chairs, linen, Electric blanket, no TV. There will be some further notes to orientate you upon arrival.

Our smartly designed micro Studio contains Bosch washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine. German made oven & microwave and induction cook top. Iron, steamer & ironing board, clothes line & hair dryer. Air conditioning /heating. Smart TV. Please note studio is extensively steam cleaned for your COVID-19 safety, along with eco friendly cleaning products. We use solar power and have our own water tank to ensure we limit our environmental footprint.

The Old Stables

The old stables in Fitzroy North. Our space is a renovated old stables situated at the back of our home in Fitzroy north. The two properties are kept separate, so the house is all yours for the duration of your stay. We designed the space to feel as though it is connected to the garden, the wooden ceiling and large glass sliding doors open up to let nature in. This is a place for relaxation, a retreat that is still close to the fun of the city.
