Our charming cottage is situated in the hamlet of Newland just 2.3 miles from Ulverston, with pubs, restaurants, and local amenities,. The Lakes are only 15 mins away too. The perfect stay for lovers of the great outdoors, cozy evenings in front of the log burner, or summer evenings in the large garden or BBQ area. The cottage is dog friendly too. Stunning woodland walk ways into Ulverston to the rear of the property, and riverside and beach walks nearby with excellent cycle routes close by

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Located just off the main street of Haverigg its the perfect location to explore the beach just around the corner (2min walk) Shop, Chippy and Pub 1 minute walk away. Aqua park and Nature reserve is also close by. We are also a good base for exploring the lake district with Coniston only being a 35min drive. Scafell Pike is close by too with a 45min drive. Our charming one bedroom cottage is located in Ulverston, South Lakes. The cottage itself has been recently renovated with brand new kitchen & bathroom featuring a waterfall shower! Other added amenities include dishwasher, free WiFi and Smart TVs. Located a short stroll from the centre of the busy market town you are close to a range of great independent pubs, restaurants and shops. With local bus and train services close by it makes a perfect base to explore the Lakes and surrounding areas.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Black Dog Cottage - Cumbrian Countryside Stay

The Black Dog cottage is a charming 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property located in a quiet rural setting two doors down from the Black Dog Inn, outside the town of Dalton in Furness in the Cumbrian countryside. In 2021 the cottage was renovated creating open plan living on the ground floor, a double and single bedroom on the first with family bathroom and a master suite on the second, complete with ensuite. Off road parking is available at the front of the cottage and wifi available throughout.

The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
