Take it easy at this unique country cabin. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and farmland. Soak in the outside bath. Close to Lake Hāwea hiking and biking trails. Boating and Cardrona and treble cone ski fields. The township of Wanaka with its many award winning restaurants and cafes is only 20km away. The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

The Lookout is a boutique mountain hideaway situated high on the hill with unrivaled panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Designed and built by the owners – this cosy getaway provides a perfect place to relax and connect with nature. The spacious, sunny and private chalet has large glass doors that open to a wide deck with breathtaking views and a patio with a luxurious double bath. With minimal town lights, this makes a perfect site for stargazing of the Milky Way. 5 min drive to Wanaka

A Good Find

A well appointed studio room with a private entrance and sweeping views of the mountains. The studio contains a queen bed, private ensuite, outdoor patio, and garden area. There are coffee and tea making facilities, but the room does not have a kitchen or fridge. Please note that we live onsite and have a toddler 👶 and a dog 🐶 which means our house is not always peaceful! We do our best to be welcoming, friendly and share our little slice of paradise. We have two e-bikes available for hire.

Wanaka Horseshoe River House

Only 9kms from Wanaka, Horseshoe River House is an idyllic peaceful rural property surrounded by the river and a reserve with incredible views of mountain ranges, including Treble Cone ski field and Cardrona Valley. Direct views of Roy’s Peak, Black Peak and Mt Iron from the living room windows. Come and enjoy this unique experience like no other in the area. Not suitable for parties. Please note: we live on the premises but in separate accommodation. Tesla charging facility available.

The Cottage sits at the front of the property with a fenced off and completely separate Corner Peak Studio at the back of the property.

Close to Lake walks,bike tracks,fishing,supermarket, cafe,takeaway,garage. 15 mins to wanaka shops an eateries. Responsible dog owners welcome on approval. Owners house on site with 3 sociable terriers.
