The cabin is located on the Namekagon River with direct access to Hayward Lake and the public boat launch just a few hundred feet away. You really get the best of both worlds here as the cabin is tucked away in a private, wooded area but is also walking distance to downtown Hayward and other attractions!!

Enjoy serenity and country feel but also close proximity to Hayward. (2 miles to main street)

If you are staying in Hayward for the Birkie its a 15 minute walk to the bridge over Hwy 63 to watch the skiers then just a few more minutes more to the finish line. There is access to snowmobile trails 9 and 15 and plenty of truck and trailer parking. Round Lake and other area lakes are nearby for ice fishing. We are about 5 miles from the Birkie trail parking and access.
