The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

This 521sq. ft. cottage was built in 2021 and has all the comforts and conveniences of being in your own home. Come relax amidst the oak trees and the surrounding horse pastures …or bring your own horse to board in a private pasture outside the cottage (extra).

We are pet friendly for well behaved four legged friends that enjoy traveling. We have a 14 ft canoe and 2 kayaks for you to enjoy. We do have a small gas motor you can rent for the canoe allowing you to truly explore the lakes. Bring your boat! We have a community boat ramp one street over. Only minutes to downtown Inverness! PET FEE $25 per pet paid directly to host.

Relax on the dock, expansive deck, screened porches or around a camp fire. Abundant outdoor activities including tubing, paddling, fishing, snorkeling, biking, etc. Pls note, 10 people max. For parties of 7+, there is a fee to unlock the 4th bedroom. No pets, no smoking, no parties or events.
