Taste, Texture & Flavors of Old Delhi
Over 3 and a half hours, we will experience life in this very beautiful & fascinating part of the city and visit several food-joints that you won't find in typical guidebooks! We'll start with the famous sugar dripping Jalebis and an insight into how they're made. Then we'll navigate our way through the quaint narrow lanes to reach a long-forgotten 17'th century 'Haveli' (Mansion) ruined but still reminiscing the Mughal era. Now we'll enter into the most colourful & buzziest 'Bazaar' of Old Delhi to visit a 90-years-old shop dedicated exclusively to 'Khurchan' (a mouth-watering dessert prepared from fresh buffalo's milk). After a little exploration of the beautiful Bazaar, we'll taste different varieties of Parathas in the famous 'Parathe Wali Gali'. Now it's time to involve ourselves in the community kitchen of an ancient Sikh Gurudwara after which we will explore Asia's largest spice market and taste a combination of the best 'Chole Bhature' (a famous North Indian dish) and 'Lassi' (buttermilk) prepared in Old Delhi. We'll experience the tranquility offered by a quick stroll in the Fatehpuri Masjid after the craziness of Chandni Chowk and at last visit, a secret rooftop with the best panoramic views of the area & click some marvelous photos. The exquisite flavor of the food and delicate aroma of the spices will surely blow away your mind! Other things to note Please arrange your transportation to the meeting point i.e. Lal Quila Metro Station (Gate No.1). The best way to reach here is by Delhi Metro's Violet Line, (on which you can easily get on from Kashmere Gate or Central Secretariat Station) or Uber. Please be on time for the experience :)

Explore hidden local eateries - Eat the Nepali way
Navigating the street food culture of Kathmandu can be quite an adventure for most and all that is taken care of on this tour ! Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Kathmandu with a lovely evening where you will explore the local Nepali cuisine with me at places most loved by locals. Tingle your taste buds with Nepali flavors at hole in the wall eateries and experience the real taste that locals eat regularly. We will begin our food tour at the old market of Indrachowk, moving on to the Kathmandu Durbar Square area that is ever so rich in culture. One thing to note is that 3 items on the tour will be Indian snacks as they're widely consumed and loved by locals here. If you are someone who is very familiar with Indian snacks, I would recommend my "Tibetan and Sherpa culinary tour" which you can find on my profile. It is completely different from what you will be eating on this tour and will be a whole different cultural experience. After hosting food tours by myself for a while, I have now started working with the young people of the city! Every guide in my tour is well trained, a local of the city and of course a food enthusiast ! It will be either me or one of my team members taking you around for the tour. NOTE : With bigger groups, the tour may take about 30 minutes more to finish.
