The Mistle is a gorgeous, quaint cottage (sleeps 4) at the far end of a historic barn. Located in the friendly village of Brockholes near Holmfirth, accessible by train, it's perfect families and friends looking for a base for a short break. It's also a great base for working. Recently renovated, you'll find it attractive, cosy and well-equipped. The cottage sits across a cobbled courtyard from our house so we're here to help. Includes parking, fast wifi and great outdoor space. Dog friendly.

Also a walking and cycling enthusiast's paradise with the Peak District National Park, Pennine Way and moorland on your doorstep.

No use of main garden but has french windows, juliet balcony and a lovely garden view. Ideal for a relaxing break. Close to Holmfirth, Yorkshire and Peak District.

Ideal for walkers, bikers and explorers to rest and revive in their own space. Facilities to sleep, shower, make a brew and basic breakfast. Can sleep two singles with the help of a sofa bed and happy to accommodate well behaved dogs and provide secure lockup for bikes/gear. The ideal stopover for anyone who needs a time out, and a base to explore from.

Old Gardener's Lodge near Holmfirth

Built on a hill one mile outside the picturesque town of Holmfirth and set in eight acres of woodland, the Old Gardener's Lodge self catering holiday cottage commands views over the mill pond. You will also enjoy views over the terraced gardens that date back to the 19th century. The accommodation consists of an open plan lounge, kitchen, diner on the ground floor with en suite master bedroom, twin bedroom and family bathroom on the floor below.

Smithy Cottage Holmbridge, Holmfirth

Smithy Cottage is a purpose furnished self catering holiday let and offers excellent accommodation for 4-5 people. It is not a party or reunion venue. The location is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and visitors to Holmfirth Picturedrome and the many nearby wedding locations. Regarding dogs, prior consent is required. There is a £10 fee per dog per stay, maximum two dogs. Please refer to the rules below in 'Other details to note'.
